Plastic Surgery

On August 14, 2013, I had plastic surgery to remove excess skin from my body after massive weight loss. Four procedures were done in total: extended abdominoplasty (tummy tuck), brachioplasty (arm lift), mastopexy (breast lift) and breast augmentation. Here, you can read about the process from start to finish, as well as view pre- and post-operative pictures and videos.

Dear Mae, while searching for WW info , I ran across your site. I felt compelled to reply.
My name is Laura from Texas.
First I’d like to say congrads you look awsome.
2nd… I could so relate to your story. while I did not have as much weight to loose… I know the desparation for the weight loss and plastic surgery. My whole family is 300 plus.
I actually work for a group of plastic surgeons in surgery every day, and silently admire these womans bodies post op.
I had my surgery in Jan 2013. Breast Aug with lift, tummy tuck and Brachio plasty.
While I like my arms…I hate/ very embarrased of the scars.
Since the summer I became depressed after seeing my backside in a pic. Lets just say… I’m not exactly one of the women we work on. and I really noted the scars.
I couldnt wait till winter so I could covered up. since then, I have gained 18 lbs.
I’m angry cuz I spent all that money and have lost my self control.
I did join weight watchers monday and have attended my first meeting then went in to check out the gym on tues.
Im married, no kids, dog, full time job and a T shirt side biz with a hubby that needs to gain weight…lol.
Any advise / Motivation would be awsome.
    Thanks
    L.
