There are many reasons for my lack of blogging, and one of them is that I feel like after Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook, there’s simply nothing left to say. Do any of my readers solely get updates on me through this blog? Doubtful. New readers probably go through my archives reading about when I was actively losing weight, which are definitely more helpful than anything I have to say now.

When something interesting happens, I’ll blog about it, like my upcoming TV appearance on The Doctors, or maybe one day, seemingly years from now, when I finally reach my arbitrary goal weight. Until then, I’m still around and very active on social media, so catch up with me there!

    Hey Mae,

    Yeah I know what you mean. It’s most certainly hard at times to come up with new and interesting things to post about.

    On several occasions I’ve written a 800 word post for my Blog and just before I hit the submit button, I think: what was the point in this?

    By the way, you look absolutely amazing. Your transformation is very inspirational 🙂

    I don’t know if it will mean much to you, but I just wanted you to know you’re so amazing. I found your blog a few months ago, and did exactly that, reading back through all of your posts during your transformation. We’re freakishly alike on so many levels, and have similar weight history. I deleted all of my social media a year ago as a project and it kinda stuck so I still check in on the blog a lot. There’s so much I could say to you, but I don’t know where to start. Bow and Sioux are wonderful. You are the greatest! Thanks for getting me started on a second, not low carb, round of weight loss!

      Hi Morgan – you have no idea what that means to me. Sometimes I feel like I’m just talking to myself on here, which is totally fine, but if it helps anyone even a little bit to relate then my job is done. Thank you thank you thank you for sticking with me!

    Hi Mae

    I personally would like for you to continue blogging. Facebook, Twitter and Instagram are okay but we need more than 140 characters and a few pictures. A full though a few times a week will do great, your words motivates people keep it up.

    Hi Mae,

    Totally understand where you are coming from. I have a personal blog that I sometimes feel who reads this anyhow – like you say we are so active everywhere.
    Although I think maybe sometimes blogging feels theraputic by just sharing. If it helps one person then great but it also helps you. So may be good to schedule updating this once a month as well as when big things happen like your appearance on the doctors 🙂
    Just a thought because i think you have an inspirational story and would like to keep hearing of your journey through life 🙂
